“I’m way too old to do a boudoir shoot.”
“Boudoir over 40? No way.”
How many of you have thought these words or said them out loud?
When you think about it… We’re all aging at this very moment. It’s crazy to think that I’m getting older as I type this, and you’re getting older as you read it. So I have to ask: Will you really let time keep passing by without following your dreams? Will you let an opportunity (like an amazingly fun boudoir session) go because you’ve placed a limit on yourself?
I hope not, because you deserve every opportunity this world has to offer!

Believing you’re too old to do something really goes against everything boudoir is about. The whole concept behind doing a boudoir photoshoot is that there are no limits whatsoever to what we women can accomplish – and that includes age limits!
So if you’re worried that you have some wrinkles, think about those wrinkles representing every laugh and cry that you’ve ever had. Be grateful that you had the opportunity to experience the good and bad moments in life. And those stretch marks? They’re a part of you too, so love them. Maybe they came from the life-changing experience of giving birth or from the triumph of losing weight. Boudoir teaches us to love all of these age markers on our bodies. After all, they’re proof that we’re alive!

I’ve worked with lots of clients in their 20’s and 30’s, but did you know that many women who visit my studio are in their 40’s, 50’s, 60’s and beyond? When they first contact me, many of them feel shy or nervous. Yes, even those in their 20’s! But they all have one thing in common: They want to feel incredible about themselves. While some take boudoir photos for their significant others, most do it for themselves. And they all end up experiencing an amazing realization – that they are more powerful, confident and beautiful than they ever imagined.

Thinking of trying a boudoir photo shoot?
Send me a message and let me show you how boudoir is for any woman, no matter how old you are. Boudoir is the greatest gift you can give yourself, and it’s never too late to enjoy it!
