I think hotels are great for a boudoir or a maternity sessions. I have nothing against having your photo session at your own home – especially boudoir if you want your lover to associate the session with your bedroom (wink, wink) 🙂 I mean – BOUDOIR is (via Wikipedia) (/ˈbuːd.wɑːr/; French: [bu.dwaʁ]) a lady‘s private bedroom, sitting room or dressing room. The term derives from the French verb bouder, meaning “to sulk” or boudeur, meaning “sulky”.[1]
However, not everyone is Martha Stewart and have the space or imagination to have a hotel looking bedroom. So I always suggest that people invest into an awesome looking hotel room that they can use for the whole day and even create a mini vacation out of it 🙂 This session was in the hotel and it turned out amazing!
