Maternity boudoir is one of my favorite types of photoshoots. There’s just so much joy and love associated with bringing a new life into this world. What’s not to celebrate?!
Now as a mom of two, I know firsthand that pregnancy isn’t without its challenges. But there’s something to be said for the amazing way a woman’s body curves and transforms to make room for a little one. Every time I photograph a mom-to-be, I’m in awe all over again thinking about how strong women are.
So when Ms. J contacted me about doing a maternity boudoir photoshoot with her husband and two young daughters, I couldn’t wait to meet her. “I’m looking to do a very specific photoshoot,” she said as we chatted by email. I told her that she had contacted the right photographer, because whatever her maternity boudoir photoshoot dreams were, I was here to make them happen. When clients have a specific type of session in mind, it’s thrilling for me to bring it to life and see how happy it makes them.
As you can see for yourself from these STUNNING photos, we had an incredible time! I loved the way Ms. J’s husband gazed at her adoringly as I posed them in an intimate family setting. And how her daughters looked like beautiful angels as they posed next to their mom. And most of all, I love the fact that they’ll have these photos to remember this extraordinary journey together.

In her own words: “Evgenia was an absolute pleasure to work with. She knows what she’s doing and does it beautifully! Her studio is gorgeous! I booked my maternity with some family photos and she did an amazing job. For me, this is the first time she is the only photographer who took pictures that were all amazing and perfect where I wanted all shots! I will be definitely coming back to do more pictures!”
When Ms. J saw the final product, she told me that after she gives birth, she’s coming back for a regular boudoir session. I can’t wait, Ms. J! Thank you for trusting me to capture your gorgeous pregnancy glow and beautiful bump! Congratulations to you and your family as you welcome a new baby into your lives!
Xoxo,
Evgenia
